THE TAO (WAY) OF WALL BUILDING

one must always be different"

JUST ANOTHER BRICK IN THE WALL
The Art Of Building A Better Society - Our Social Wall
A Mind Expanding Thought By Brian Elly
For The WEPI INSTITUTE And The Kids Of The World

Our wall, our wall,

how tall our wall.

Build it right our wall,

and we grow tall.

Build it wrong our wall,

and we will surely fall.

Built for the rigors of

time to withstand?

Or an old boat dancing on

an ocean of shifting sand?

Building great walls

takes many a good hand.

A child is said to be a brick.

But not just any old brick.

But a vital brick,

in our living, breathing

silly old wall.

Then why treat him like

he is any old brick?

Why treat him like

he is too thick,

thick as any old brick?

Like a candle without a wick. (worthless)

Why treat him like he is ill,

when we know full well

that he is not sick?

We know, without doubt

we have many a flaw,

then why mold him to be

like us ...

A kitten without a paw.

Another silly old sic?

We are his peers,

young and old.

We contribute our handful

of dirt to his final mixture of clay

while he is still small,

to stop him from becoming

a poppy too tall.

Co’s he’s just another

dispensable brick

in our arrogant brittle wall ...

How sad we fools,

who believe we

know it all

as we build our

brittle wall ...

Our brittle wall ...

that is destined to fall?

- END -

[sic as in a perfect copy of our sinister selves - he refers to both boys and girls - silly old wall refers to our deluded erroneous self-importance, mores, paradigms etc.]
