The wise forward thinking businessman chose to take the superior harder but more effective path - to take his time and work out the best way to build a pipeline to the town.

It would cost him much more and take longer to build, but once it was in place he could retire and live off his limitless fast flowing earnings from the continuously flowing pipeline.
