A PARABLE FOR LIMITLESS SUCCESS ...

Try to decipher this profound riddle and you will have discovered your answer of how you too can super effectively achieve every goal and dream in your life -

A troubled and very frustrated disciple in a Shaolin Temple approached his Master and asked for guidance.

Master why is it that I can never triumph over my more competent opponents, they are faster and far stronger and far more skilled then I?

The Master takes his walking stick and draws a long line in the sand with the stick. He then draws another shorter line next to the longer first line.

He then turned to the student and said - This long line is your opponent, and this short line is you.

Now my dear troubled Grasshopper, tell me how can you reduce the length of the line of your opponent without you physically touching it to alter it in anyway?

The Master then told the student to return in a year’s time when he had solved the perplexing riddle.

A year later the student returned, but he was non the wiser.

I am so sorry Master but I have not solved this most perplexing riddle, I have no answer. I believe that it is not possible for me to reduce my opponent’s line without me directly touching it.

The Master smiled. Then took his walking stick and said, watch ... as he placed the walking stick on the student’s much shorter line and extended it far beyond his opponent’s line till his line was much longer then his opponent's line.

That my dear Grasshopper is how you reduce your opponent’s line, by extending your own Competence Line so that it is far longer then the Competence Line of your opponent.

The light suddenly flashed in the young student’s mind and he quickly lowered his head graciously to thank his Master, and then rushed off to extend his own Competence Line instead of squandering any more of his valuable time and energy worrying about how to shorten his opponent’s Competence Line through foolish means.

Or foolishly wishing that his opponent may get lazy or drop his high standards and allow him to succeed in life.

THE LESSON

Yes, the lesson is a simple one, but boy is it a powerful one.

You succeed in life not by trying to shorten other people’s Competence Line, a futile exercise for the foolish, but by doing whatever it takes every day of your life, to extend your own powers and competence so that they are far superior to other people's competence.

And that’s how you can effortlessly succeed with your goals and dreams and in every aspect of your life.

Just focus on your own skills and competence and make them the most excellent they can be, and you will find that the results will just come effortlessly to you ... your best is not good enough ... get better!

The harder you ignore this natural law of Competence Line Extension and the TAO, the more you will struggle with your goals and dreams and in every other area of your life.
