Although it is stated that the gestation period for a human baby incorporates two distinct phases because it is forced to be born too early because of the limitations of the mother's pelvic region - the birth canal.

THE TWO GESTATION PERIODS - PHASES;

UTEROGESTATION - in side the womb which consists of over 266 days.

EXTEROGESTATION - outside the womb which consists of over 266 days.

Now this fact alone should send out strong signals for we adults to place greater value and need to use superior TACTILE COMMUNICATION tools to better empower our new born children. At least during the first year of the child's life when the growth of its brain and faculties are enormous.

In fact the first three (3) years are critical as the brain grows to almost the size of an adult's brain ...

But WEPI believes that the gestation period for a child is actually twenty years - the first twenty years of its life. Because that is how long it take for its brain to fully develop to its full capacity and size.

And this is why WEPI believes that it is most critical for we adults to meticulously administer superior TACTILE COMMUNICATION to every child. At least for its critical first twenty years of life.

And it is the responsibility of the whole of society to ensure that this critical process is adhered to if we want to dramatically reduce the social burden that poorly developed children place on the whole of society.
