Now dude, the following diagram was adapted from the work of the great Denis Waitley, a super cool dude who loves kids and has devoted his life to empowering you to be your very best. You should get yourself a copy of his many enlightening books.

Denis tells us that your environment doesn’t always determine your destiny. So use the diagram below as a powerful tool to confirm which VALUE PATH you may be on today, so that you can make any adjustments if needed to get back on the right path for you to achieve enlightenment.

This tool may be more for the older dudes, but it’s an eye opener for you, and it could make a real difference in your life by putting you on the path that is most desirable for you to achieve your dreams.

That’s a trick statement because your ultimate goal should be to reach Level 10 as soon as possible. The younger you do it, the better for you and your world, because the greater will be your compounding contributions.

That’s where you will find your real power, freedom, happiness and joy. That’s where you’ll discover the TAO and your Te ... your personal powers to live a totally awesome and joyous life.

But most of all, the diagram below is simply a guiding path for each of us to reach our superior self love, self-acceptance, inner peace, and inner security by highlighting the growth we need to focus on. It is our ultimate love affair. And from this awesome platform we can achieve limitless joy.

The diagram shows you that no matter what your past beliefs and actions may have been, they are not who you are. It shows that it is possible for you to transcend your current level of emotional security and move on up to a better level.

And it does not matter what you may have done in the past, good or bad, you can still make it up the ladder to achieve enlightenment.

By identifying your current emotional level, then comparing it to the ROSE EMOTION METER, you can better identify your emotional shortfalls and improve on them. And this will more effectively enable you to move to the higher emotional levels towards your ultimate enlightenment.

This is the only time that you should compare yourself. You are just comparing yourself to the incontrovertible ROSE EMOTION METER to better gauge yourself.

Just like using a heart monitor to gauge the condition of your heart so that you can chart a more effective path to superior health and fitness. You are just assessing yourself against the forces of nature. You are not comparing yourself (Your PB: Personal Best) against another human being.

Please note that even though we have given each level a specific title, we do not want you to limit your life by accepting those titles. You must never ever accept any title no matter what.

It doesn’t matter if the titles are positive or negative labels that you or others may want to bestow on you. Titles limit our focus and our choices by framing and limiting our thinking.

When we foolishly accept any title, we become that TOTALLY LIMITING title. There is only one exception to this incontrovertible law of life. You may accept the title that you are a precious limitless human being armed with limitless powers to achieve whatever you desire that is in alignment with your unique and natural gifts.

But again, do remember no matter what ROSE EMOTIONAL level you may be on today, tomorrow is another day in paradise for you, and there is absolutely no reason why you cannot tap into the full limitless powers of your ROSE and soar to the highest level very quickly.

It’s totally your call dude. Here are your ROSE levels, study them and begin today to move up a level till you achieve your level of enlightenment. How fast you travel is totally your choice. You may already be there, only you will know that;

LEVEL 1. THE MERCENARY: You are at the lowest level where you have very little value in your ROSE, or so you believe. You’re a real evil dude. You kidnap, kill and hurt people, especially those who have high public profiles. You draw false power from your savage acts to prove a point.

Levels 1 to 4 are low ROSE level dudes. But remember no matter what level you are on, your ROSE is always full with your limitless value. So there is hope for everyone to reach enlightenment.

Your actions do not determine who you are, or what your value may be. Only you alone can do that.

LEVEL 2. THE TYRANT: A level up, you still abuse people to gain attention. Through your verbal and physical violence you try to confirm your importance. But do you really succeed?

LEVEL 3. THE CHAMELEON: And another level up, you are still a very fragile weak charactered dude. You hide behind your many facades of intimidation, though not as physical as your pals on the lower levels.

You still have a great addiction to abuse others and use their pain to boost your fragile ego.

LEVEL 4. THE VAMPIRE: On this level you are a taker not a giver. You go after success regardless of the consequences to others as long as it doesn’t cost you.

You are unaware of your true value, and like the vampires that stalk in the veil of darkness, you prowl on unsuspecting victims so that you can suck the value out of them to prop up your fragile ego.

You can be found prowling in all areas of life, from politics, business, education systems to burglars. Any position where it is easy for you to steal value from others. This is the last level of low value ROSEs. Things start to get better on the higher levels from here.

LEVEL 5. THE VAUNTER: This is the beginning of the medium level ROSE group. On these medium levels you do not have the desire to abuse victims to boost your fragile ego.

You’re a bit more sociable then your predecessors on the lower levels. But as your name suggests, you are still addicted to attention, and your aim in life is to publicize your conquests, your wardrobe etc. to the world so that the world can confirm to you that you are a winner.

This addiction is what keeps you from finding enlightenment and freedom. The more you feel and act to impress others, the more powerless you become.

LEVEL 6. THE JESTER: Another medium ROSE level. Yes you are the court jester. People like you because they find you amusing. You make people happy because you want them to accept you. You hide behind your humor.

People find you funny as long as you don’t overstay your welcome by going overboard. Your addiction to your humor facade agenda to gain value from others keeps you from achieving freedom and enlightenment.

LEVEL 7. THE ACQUIRER: This is the last medium ROSE level. You have the compulsion to surround yourself with all the superficial trappings of success to make yourself feel valuable. Why not, you can afford it. Yes and no.

This may be the most frequented ROSE level. Most of us float through life on this level. We must impress or else we’re less. And this fallacy keeps the doors to enlightenment locked tight to us.

The more we need, the more we greed, the more we concede to outside forces, the more we cede in our own super-subconscious estimation.

LEVEL 8. THE WINNER: Now you’re starting to steam ahead dude. Levels 8 to 10 are the highest ROSE levels. You’re pretty secure inside if you’re floating on these 3 levels. You’ve outgrown your addiction for attention seeking and you’re now in a new league of self-security.

You work hard to achieve, but you want to get your just recognition as all winners and high achievers do. You’re well respected by your peers. Winning that respect is what drives you hard.

You’re a team player who could be found on any team from sports to business. You’re usually underrated. You don’t mind being overlooked when public accolades are dished out but as long as your buddies on the team think you’re okay, things are super cool for you.

Although you’re pretty secure with yourself, you do need tangible acknowledgments like a pat on the back, or some form of physical award you can hang on your wall to tell the world that yes you are a true winner. Which you genuinely are.

But your craving for respect is an addiction that keeps you from achieving freedom and enlightenment. And until you let go of this addiction, (deadly attachment), the doors to the higher levels will always be closed to you, because your value depends on other dudes’ estimation of your ROSE.

LEVEL 9. THE PHILANTHROPIST: Now you’re starting to really boil. On this second highest ROSE level where your self-value is truly touching the clouds, but still a long way from the stars where you belong. You’re nearly there, but not quite.

You’re pretty secure with yourself not to be addicted to attention and recognition. You have outgrown your ME stage (or what the great David Suzuki calls our MAGGOT STAGE), and are now working on your WE stage to make the world a better place for us.

You’re a real super cool dude with a big heart, who has realized that giving is the ultimate goal in life, but you still crave a little respect and recognition from your super high peers.

Yet another addiction that keeps you from entering the kingdom of enlightenment to achieve total freedom. Otherwise you’re a totally special cool dude. The type the world needs more of. You are showing us the way.

LEVEL 10. THE ENLIGHTENED: Congratulations! You’re the ultimate coolest dude there is. This is the immortal Jonathan Livingston Seagull level. You have reached the pinnacle of your journey through life to achieve enlightenment.

Your power and freedom comes from within. You totally trust your intuition - your gut feeling, and you follow it with boldness and courage, because you know that it is the universal forces guiding you to your ultimate destiny. You are not a gullible fool to trust any man made system that can predict your future.

You know who and what you are. You are free of all emotional, chemical and material addictions. You have found out that you have limitless value stored in your ROSE, and therefore you know that your value is limitless and indestructible. Safe from any type of harmful force.

You do not need positive input from others because you are super secure about every aspect of yourself. Therefore you are a good listener because you do not feel threatened by others. You live a super simple quality life. You own your life because you do not give your precious power to possessions. Moderation and humility are your credos.

You have found that it is far better to prefer goals and dreams then to rigidly desire them. This way if things work out differently, as they mostly will and do, no big deal, you just say "SO WHAT, I DID MY VERY BEST" and adjust, achieve, and move on to another option that delivers far superior rewards for you.

You do a great deal, and you do your very best, and no matter what the result, life’s cool for you. Nothing can ruffle your feathers. You are not influenced by moralists because you know they have hidden agendas. You know that morals change over time, but the TAO (REALITY) does not.

Your life is one of synergy, balance and harmony, because you invest in your five precious wealths of HEALTH, FUN, LOVE, GIVING and CAREER each day.

Your life is full of love and joy, and you have no desire to control. You are the coolest dude around. You are the untouchable limitless warrior. You are an inspiration, a living treasure, a powerful force that moves us all towards peace, joy and harmony.

We feel empowered and enriched because of your gift of giving your very best to us. We are far richer because you lived to give.
